Job Description
Manage and oversee import and export shipments from booking through customs clearance to final delivery.
Coordinate and liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, trucking companies, and warehouses to ensure smooth operations.
Review, verify, and prepare shipping documents including Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, and Insurance documents.
Handle and manage TradeNet submissions, customs procedures, and port authority–related processes independently.
Monitor and control delivery schedules, container returns, and detention/demurrage issues.
Perform cost control and prepare logistics expense reports for management review.
Supervise, guide, and support junior logistics staff.
Complete logistics-related tasks assigned by management in a timely and efficient manner.
Job Specifications
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 4–6 years of working experience in the logistics or shipping field at a senior level.
Proven hands-on experience in handling import and export processes.
Strong knowledge of TradeNet operations and customs procedures.
Good command of written and spoken English at a business communication level.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, email communication, and report writing.
Ability to work under pressure with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Experience
Minimum 4–6 years of relevant work experience in logistics or shipping.
Prior work experience with a shipping line or freight forwarding company is preferred.
Candidates with professional experience in project or heavy cargo handling will be an advantage.
